The Who
Life isn’t about finding yourself it’s about creating yourself.
You have always been there, you just need the right tools for the craft.
My name is Aurora, and my entire life has been about creation. I have worked with various minds ranging in age and ability since my late teenage years. My career begun through a placement position that eventually granted me with my first profession. I became a case manager for those who had acquired brain injuries, and learnt my greatest lesson, which is just how remarkably strong our minds can be.
Since then I have worked in youth facilities across the nation, as well as assisted in many allied health and counselling roles, that all eventually lead me to my most under recognised title. I became an outreach worker who’s aim was reconnecting those who had become disconnected for far too long with other like-minded individuals. This involved connection to their communities, their families, and themselves, which I have cultivated as a foundation to my practice.
I have completed a double-diploma in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs, and am currently completing my bachelors in Psychological Science. I specialise in a trauma informed response and have attained the necessary credentials to implement safe practices of counselling to ensure the standards of the APS guidelines are being adhered to.
I believe it is my mission to make therapy, healing, self-work, or what ever we want to label it, as simple and accessible for all. That is why I am doing this the way I truly believe it ought to be done.
